4 INSANE Branding Lessons With Donald Miller & Dale Partridge

Do people talk about your brand? Is your brand so creatively connected that people write articles about it? Is your brand’s architecture so brilliant that people can’t help but tell their friends about it?

If not, NYT Bestselling author Donald Miller shares with us how to change that. And to be honest, it’s one of the most fascinating views on branding I’ve seen.

Many know Don from his book and movie Blue Like Jazz. But on the backside, he’s an impressive story teller who understands the anatomy of communication. Don believes that companies who can structure their marketing into a well-formatted story, can manufacture not just more sales… but deeper connection, increased share-ability, and deeper loyalty with customers.

In this week’s episode you’ll learn:

  • The most powerful trigger to the human mind
  • What 4 elements make up great stories
  • How to leverage key-points to amplify your brand’s story
  • How business owners should shift their thinking on social media

If you’d like to learn more about Don and how he helps brands tell their story, you can learn more at Storybrand and Storyline. If you’d like to follow Don on social media, check out his Instagram and Twitter.

Dale, I listened to this one twice this morning. It’s great! It had a couple of “aha!” moments for me, which I really consider high praise for content.

I have found that I’ve had to go back through startup camp’s content time and again because I’m chewing on different ideas each time as I gain understanding through implementing the previous idea.

    This podcast is great!

  7. Shena stubbs says:

This podcast was very illuminating, it helped to clarify for me where the focus of my start-up should be ie on the customer and solving their problem, I found myself focusing less on what I want to put out there for ppl to buy and more on the need in my propspective customers lives that I aim to meet and how what I am putting out there meets that need. So much of what I have listened to and read so far has helped me on this journey however this podcast was particularly insightful, the cherry on top. Thank you Dale.

  8. This came at the perfect time, as I am on the branding module….If you miss out on this podcast, it will be obvious in your work. His take on branding is not like anything I’ve heard, but is so incredibly powerful, practical, and effective. DO NOT MISS THIS!
